How to register for North Online

Please refer to the following instructions on how to register for access to North Online if you're either an:

  • Adviser
  • Adviser Support Staff, or
  • Investor.

Adviser Registration for North Online
Before you start, you need to:
  • ensure that your Licensee has entered into an Online Transactions Agreement - if you're unsure, please contact the North Service Centre on 1800 North 1 (1800 667 841),
  • ensure that you have an AXA identification Number (IDN) - if you're unsure, please contact the North Service Centre on 1800 North 1 (1800 667 841).

Adviser Registration Process
Step 1: Click on the Log-in box
Step 2: A new window will open. Make sure you have pop-ups enabled on your internet browser
Step 3: Click 'Register here' and complete relevant fields including IDN, name and postcode
Step 4: Click on 'Submit' and you will be presented with a confirmation message on the screen
Step 5: A temporary password will be sent immediately via email
Step 6: Advisers can now access North Online using their IDN and temporary password via a 'log in' button
Step 7: On first login advisers will be required to agree to the Terms & Conditions and change your password

Adviser Support Staff Registration
Advisers can delegate authority to support staff to view and transact client details on their behalf. Once a support staff member is registered, they can access the client details of any adviser who has granted them authority. Registering a support staff user is done via the Access Management tab once an adviser has logged in to the North Online site.

Adviser Support Staff Registration Process
Step 1: Log-in to North Online by Adviser
Step 2: Go to the Access Management tab
Step 3: Click on the 'Manage my support staff user accounts' link
Step 4: Click on the 'Create User' button
Step 5: Enter staff details
Step 6: Click in the 'Delegate Authority' box
Step 7: Click 'Save'
Step 8: To delete users, simply click in the 'Delete user' box and click on 'Save'


You can also delegate to a user who has already been created by another adviser in your practice.

Investor Registration
Investors are not able to register online. Once you become a North client, you will be sent a User ID in a Welcome Letter followed by a separate letter with your temporary password. On first login you will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions and change your password. This will enable you to view all of your details.
